Getting started

Draft. This page describes the preview edition and will change as features land.

Install the preview

  1. Join early access. Preview builds are emailed to members.
  2. Install the Windows preview (installer). macOS, iOS & iPadOS and Android builds are coming soon.
  3. Open Chronos Studio and pick your audio interface when asked.

Send your first timecode

  1. Choose a frame rate — all twelve SMPTE ST 12-1 rates are available, including 29.97 and 59.94 drop-frame.
  2. Set a start address, for example 01:00:00:00.
  3. Add an LTC output on the audio channel wired to your console, media server or recorder.
  4. Press Play. The readout and the output run together.
